We would like to extend a warm welcome to our returning students. We are looking forward to seeing you back on campus.  To ensure that you are prepared to continue your studies at New Paltz, you must show scholastic achievement by maintaining a good academic performance (with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher) at Istanbul Technical University (ITU).

APPLICATION PROCESS

Step one - Submit an application online.

To apply for returning to the program, please click LOGIN on the menu bar at the top of this page, and use the Studio Abroad username and password you used last year to log in and follow the instructions to submit your application. If you forget your password, you can always reset it by clicking  "Forgot your password?" under login button on the login page.  A temporary password will be sent to your personal email account. If you encounter any login issues, please email your problems to tsaicl@newpaltz.edu.

Step two - Submit required documents.

Once your application is accepted, you will be asked to provide the following information and forms.  Please follow the instructions and complete the requirements. 

  1. Airport Arrival Information
  2. Attendance Response and Housing License Form
  3. Course SelectionsForm
Step three - Review Learning Content.

The learning contents on the left-hand side of your application provide all of the important information you need while preparing to study at SUNY New Paltz, including the official airport pick-up dates, housing information, tuition costs and payment details. Although failure to review learning contents will not affect your opportunity to study at New Paltz, we strongly encourage you to read those materials.

HEALTH INSURANCE

All international students are automatically enrolled in the international student health insurance plan provided by HTH Worldwide Insurance (http://www.hthstudents.com/). The SUNY policy provides access to excellent medical services in the local area, full coverage of prescription medication, and treatment for pre-existing conditions, as well as medical evacuation and repatriation coverage.  It is readily accepted by physicians and hospitals throughout the United States. HOUSING AND MEAL PLAN

We encourage students to live on campus. It is a great way to make friends during your time in New Paltz and to have easy access to campus resources and activities. You can reserve a room on campus by sending us the Housing License by the deadline.  Information about the residence halls are on our website: http://www.newpaltz.edu/reslife/. Information about the meal plan can also be found on our website at  http://cas.newpaltz.edu/meal-plans.

PAY FOR YOUR EDUCATION

You will receive a bill online after registering classes at SUNY New Paltz. The payment due date will be available on your bill or in your my.newpaltz.edu webpage (under Money). You have several options to pay for your tuition, fees and living expenses, but we recommend that you pay online with a credit card.  Alternatively you may pay when you arrive using cash, traveler's check, personal check, or credit card.  You may also pay with  an international wire transfer but your bank may charge fees for this service. This process should be completed before you arrive on our campus.  Please contact the bank in your home country to request specific information about fees and procedures for transferring money to the United States.

Once you have contacted your bank, notifying the Office of Student Accounts that you will be sending a wire transfer and request the Routing Number and Swift Code.  You may contact the Student Account Office by telephone at (845)257-3150 or by e-mail at stuacct@newpaltz.edu.
