  • Study Abroad students must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • All courses are taught in English.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, participants will earn 12 or more undergraduate level credits for the semester.

Housing

The vast majority of student residences are single en-suite study bedrooms in self-catered flats. In self-catered accommodation, students share a kitchen with anything from 4 to 8 other students and they are able to cook for themselves using facilities provided.

Visas and Immigration

Visa requirements frequently change and you are ultimately responsible for correctly completing UK immigration requirements.  Please do not apply for a visa or purchase airplane tickets until you have received information and support documentation from the SUNY New Paltz Center for International Programs office.
  •     US citizens:
    •         not required if studying for a semester (less than 6 months) and you are not working, interning or volunteering
    •         Required if studying for the academic year (more than 6 months) and/or working, interning or volunteering
  •     Non-US citizens: check with British consulate for visa requirements
